99% of people find it hard to believe! Takes only 1 minute to fully charge
Electric car design manufacturer Fisker has unveiled a new electric car, the EMotion.
Priced at $130,000, the car's biggest attraction is its newly developed solid-state battery that can be fully charged in just one minute and can travel 644 miles at 260 km/h.
Next, the company will further refine its solid-state battery technology on the one hand, and aim to achieve mass production of the entire vehicle by 2023.
On the other hand, it is working with autonomous driving developers to make the Emotion EV L4 capable of autonomous driving within two years.
With a push for electric cars on one side and autonomous driving on the other, Fisker has captured two major trends in the automotive industry this time around.
For traditional car companies, the challenge in these two areas is crucial, and the slightest misstep may see them beaten by the later. And for startups intent on entering the automotive space, these two opportunities can be a once-in-a-century occurrence.
Maybe, 20, 30 years from now you won't see a few of the current traditional car brands in the automotive space.
