I've written a small assistant for the task of piggybacking, if you need it, take it!
It's very spartanly made, the samples don't even count, but it feels like the basic practical value is there, so I don't have to keep going to the page. I'll update the update later, and I'd like to get some other auxiliary features, so I'll add them slowly when I have time.
The basic idea is to read the content of a web page at regular intervals, find out the list of tasks, and then compare the last list read and find a different one, prompting for an update.
The main interface is extremely simple.
Minimized and parked in the taskbar notification area.
Every once in a while, you visit the software tasks page on piggyback.com and find a new task that pops up in a small window in the bottom right corner of your desktop.
