Japan's Kyushu Electric Power Co. announced on Aug. 29 an investment in Digitalgrid Inc. Digitalgrid is a company that uses blockchain technology A startup that builds trading platforms for electricity and environmental value. It is reported that the company has successfully built a p2p network "Digitalgrid Platform" using the ethereum blockchain, and plans to apply it to commercial services in October 2019.
