Samsung's ChromebookPlusV2 adds Intel processor and rear-facing camera
Samsung today announced that its Chromebook Plus V2 will be available later this month and will also launch some of its upgrades based on the 2017 model. For starters, Samsung has swapped out the ARM processor in the original Chromebook Plus for a faster Intel Celeron 3965Y CPU, and has added a 13-megapixel rear camera, which makes the 2-in-1 device more tablet-like.
In addition, the keyboard is designed to resist up to two ounces of lightly violent use.
Same as the previous model，V2 outfit with4GB RAM harmony32GB RAM。 It also has12.2 inch (unit of length equal 2.54 cm.)1920x1080 Resolution Display（ through (a gap)Plus'2400x1600 Resolution downgrade），1 Megapixel front-facing camera and built-in stylus。
While slightly heavier than the original Chromebook Plus, it weighs just 2.93 pounds compared to the previous £2.38.
While the Intel processor is a bit of an improvement over the one offered by Plus, it's still not as good as the Intel Core M3 processor included in last year's Chromebook Pro. The V2 retails for $500, which is $50 more than the original Plus price at launch, so you'll have to decide if the slight upgrade is worth the price increase.
The Chromebook Plus V2 will launch on June 24 via Best Buy.
