From my own point of view, I always think that the development of artificial intelligence up to now, has always been as a human auxiliary, human helper, is a great display and development of human intelligence in "things", as for the talk about "machine consciousness" first of all, we must be clear "what is human consciousness".

So, what is human consciousness?

Bewusstsein des Selbst（ self-awareness）: Selbstbewusstsein in diesem Sinne haben Lebewesen, die nicht nur phänomenales und gedankliches Bewusstsein haben, sondern auch wissen, dass sie ein solches Bewusstsein haben.

Individualitätsbewusstsein（ individual awareness）besitzt, wer sich seiner selbst und darüber hinaus seiner Einzigartigkeit als Lebewesen bewusst ist und die Andersartigkeit anderer Lebewesen wahrnimmt. Man trifft es beim Menschen und andeutungsweise im Verhalten einiger anderer Säugetierarten an.
